Annoyance #2398

Can someone PLEASE tell me why the cable channels think it's a good idea to play the same movie back to back, especially when said movie is not something awesome like Bring It On?  I really need to know.

Thanks.

I have no idea. Do you want me to place a call to Ted Turner? He's on my speed dial here somewhere....

For the same reason that we have like 52 bazillion channels and sometimes there is still nothing on worth watching!! I'm pretty sure they are out to get us...

So glad that you agree that if it were Bring it On there would be no problem with repeated playing - I have surely seen that movie like 10 times.

It's posts like this that make me think we're destined to be friends in reality one day....we can hang out and do spirit fingers together :)

I think they're just lazy or out partying somewhere & left it on "repeat".
I decided to stop in here from Kathryn's blog & I'm glad I did. I love it! Great taste & sense of humor. AND...I hate Coldplay, too! I pretty much can listen to anything, but not that!
Looking forward to reading more:) (((HUGS)))

Well I'm going to be totally different here. I actually like when they play the same movie all day long cause that way I can still run around the house cleaning or cooking or doing laundry and somehow still manage to see the entire movie at least once during the day in bits and pieces.

But I can see how it would bug you.

Included with our basic cable, we also got the Godfather channel, the Braveheart channel, and the Independence Day channel. You get what you get.
